Are there any promotional codes for AA european breakdown cover?

Hi,
I have never come across any promotional codes for European covers (neither AA or any other company, RAC etc.). You can compare prices for majority of breakdown recovery providers on www.simplebreakdowncover.co.uk. There are quite good options. If you are giong for few days only then it's usually cheaper to buy AA or RAC European cover (depends on your car age etc.). If you are planning to go to the continent several times then you may consider other options like IC Breakdown Cover, which is something like £50 or £60 for annual both UK and European cover! Cheapest European Breakdown Cover?

Do you know which is the cheapest breakdown cover for europe? I only really need a single trip (if they do those)

You can only get breakdown cover in the country you reside in and they will have cover for all of Europe. However, you don't say where you live, so that fact makes it difficult to know which company you need. You won't get a single trip. It's normal to have a yearly cover. Mine comes free with my car insurance. I live in Spain.

Which European breakdown cover is good?

I am planning to take my car when I go to France during bank holiday weekend. As this car is 9 years old I think it would be wise to buy a breakdown insurance. Any suggestions? Any of those big ones like RAC or AA are good value for money?

i would first try here: www.simplebreakdowncover.co.uk. they compare uk and european covers - actually compare, not only list banners and ads. but what is even more important they give you the exact premium based on your requirements (i.e. car age, number of days you want to go for etc.) for the whole variety of recovery providers (aa, rac and smaller ones). and those they do not list those policies that you can't buy (i.e. your car is to old). cheers
